Wayne Gouveia is the Vice President Commercial General Aviation at the Air Transport Association of Canada, which includes responsibilities for supporting member in the Air Taxi and Flight Training categories.

Wayne is a graduate of  McMaster University (Hon. BA), Moncton Flight Centre, Commercial Pilots Course, Perimeter Aviation, Multi IFR and City of London Polytechnic UK, Commercial Pilot Course.

Wayne has owned his own business and has a background in aviation, most recently with the Canadian Aviation Maintenance Council (CAMC).  He is also a past vice-chair of the Canadian Aviation World Skills Executive Committee.

Along with all issues related to flight training and air taxi , Wayne is responsible for the marketing of aviation in Canada internationally, as well as coordinating the ATAC Dangerous Goods Committee and the Airside/Ground Safety Committee.
