Further Information:
The Victoria Flying Club is located on beautiful Vancouver Island on the west coast of British Columbia. We enjoy a very temperate climate allowing us to fly virtually every day of the week year round. We have been training pilots for more than 60 years right from the Recreational Permit up to the Professional Pilot level. Our graduates have had careers as pilots with major airlines, the Canadian Armed Forces and many other private and corporate flight operations. Because we are located at the Victoria International Airport, our students are able to familiarize themselves with a busy controlled airspace. At the same time however, our practice areas are located just outside the control zone so transit time is brief and flying time is very productive. Our hangar/administrative building contains two large classrooms, wireless email access, a library, pilot shop, pilot lounge, fuel depot, airside BBQ area, a restaurant and most importantly, staff who are courteous, friendly and knowledgeable, who will make you feel at home while you are here with us.
