• ATAC’S REACTION TO BUDGET
  
  Citizenship and Immigration Canada is introducing a new policy that will allow international students engaging in post-secondary studies in Canada to transfer between different types of institutions (both public and private) without applying for a change to the conditions of their study permit.
  
  The purpose for this change is to reduce the number of transactions that genuine international students must undertake with Citizenship and Immigration Canada after they have arrived in Canada. This new policy does not alter the initial assessment of study permit applications.
