ATAC offers three types of membership. To find out more about the benefits ATAC can offer you, and to start the application process, please select the membership category that best describes your company:
Consisting of any Canadian person, partnership or corporation engaged in the commercial operation of aircraft holding a Transport Canada issued operating certificate, or engaged in aviation training or education, and that has operations that fit into at least one (1) of the following categories:
Operating primarily transport category aircraft as defined in Part 705 of the Canadian Aviation Regulations or generating in excess of $100 million annual gross flying revenue.
Operating small and / or commuter airplanes or helicopters and serving a regional or specialty market.
Flight Training Units and Aviation Educational Institutions (i.e. diploma or degree granting institutions engaged in aviation training or education leading to students qualifying for, or accreditation in, a recognized field of aviation activity, including, without limitation, pilots, aircraft maintenance engineers and technicians.)
There are two types of Industry Partners:
Persons, partnerships or corporations that are associated with the aviation industry. Only individuals and employees not associated with partnerships or corporations which themselves could qualify as Members or Foreign Operator Industry Partners may qualify as Industry Partners.
Foreign Operator Industry Partners
Persons, partnerships or corporations that (a) are engaged in the commercial operation of aircraft into and out of Canada, and (b) have their head office outside of Canada.
Any trade associations or other related not-for-profit organizations associated with the aviation industry.
Affiliates pay no dues.
