ATAC Announces the Appointment of Les Aalders as Executive Vice President

Following his aeronautical engineering education, Les enjoyed a long and distinguished career in aviation in Canada.

Before originally joining ATAC in 1998, he worked in engineering for Field Aviation, Conair Aviation, Pacific Western Airlines, Wardair, and Canadian Airlines International. He also acted as Interim Executive Director at the Canadian Council for Aviation and Aerospace.

Les returns to ATAC after having served over two years as Executive Vice President for the Aerospace Industries Association of Canada.

Mr. Aalders stated: "I am really looking forward to returning to the ATAC family, getting re‐acquainted with the members I have previously worked with and getting to know the newer members. I am keen to get engaged with John and the rest of the great ATAC team on current issues and assist in any way that I can to mitigate financial and regulatory burden for the ATAC members."

"We are very happy that Les has returned. He offers ATAC members a wealth of knowledge, experience and credibility.

We are all proud to have him back on the ATAC team", commented Mr. McKenna.

Les will start at ATAC on January 12, 2012.
