Labour Market Survey Update: Your Input Still Needed

The Canadian Council for Aviation & Aerospace (CCAA) is about to release the Aviation & Aerospace national labour market survey. This initiative is in partnership with the Government of Canada and 15 workforce development councils across Canada, and has two key objectives: to provide sector-level labour market intelligence that supports informed policy and workforce development decisions, and to create a clearer understanding of employment trends across interconnected industries and economic activities.

CCAA held several focus groups to better understand the current challenges organizations are facing in hiring and retaining Aircraft Maintenance Engineers. The discussions generated thoughtful feedback and valuable perspectives that will help shape future initiatives. CCAA will use the results of these focus-groups in liaison with government to find and implement sustainable solutions.

The more organizations involved, the more accurately the findings will reflect current labour market conditions, workforce challenges, and future talent needs. Now is the time to get involved.
