ATAC and the aviation industry mourns the loss of our friend and colleague Gerry Bruno, a founding director of the Future Borders Coalition. His legacy profoundly shaped the transportation and aviation sectors in Canada and the United States.

His forward-thinking approach and dedication to the aviation industry and cross-border initiatives were truly remarkable. His vision for open borders has paved the way for greater cooperation and connectivity between Canada and the United States. His dedication and persuasive abilities fostered significant bilateral cooperation in transportation, trade, and travel and will inspire and guide future efforts in these areas.

Gerry's influence is felt by many, and his wisdom and humor are fondly remembered as he touched us all. A celebration of his life will be held in the coming months. Donations in his memory can be made to the Prostate Cancer Centre or Peace Arch Hospital.

Gerry we are grateful for the indelible mark you left on our lives and industry; your legacy will live on.
