Last week the Honourable Randy Boissonnault, Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Official Languages, launched the Recognized Employer Pilot (REP) under the Temporary Foreign Worker (TFW) Program.
The proposed changes to Canada Express Entry system will support a new trusted employer system called the Recognized Employer Pilot (REP) being implemented in January 2024 to expedite the processing of labour market impact assessment applications and help fill short-term labour market gaps. This will be extremely helpful to the Aviation sector as we recover to travel demands exceeding 2019 numbers while facing labour shortages and retirements in many critical occupations.
