December 5, 2022. ATAC is happy to share the news that the late Harvey Friesen of Bearskin Airlines, and Ken Lett of Executive Flight Centre, both ATAC Lifetime Honorees, are to be inducted into Canada’s Aviation Hall of Fame.
The Induction Ceremony will be held on September 14, 2023, at Sunwest Aviation in Calgary.
Other inductees will be Dr. Gary Gray, the late Keith Hopkinson, along with No. 1 Air Division, recipient of The Belt of Orion Award for Excellence.
Chris Hadfield will be the keynote speaker for the event. Colonel Hadfield, a highly decorated astronaut, engineer, fighter pilot, musician and author, was inducted as a Member into Canada’s Aviation Hall of Fame in 2005.
ATAC offers heartfelt congratulations to the inductees and their families and invites the aviation community to attend the Induction Ceremony which will mark the Hall’s 50th Anniversary.
