Letter to Competition Bureau - Market Study Notice: Competition in Canada’s Airline Industry

The Air Transport Association of Canada appreciates the opportunity to comment on the Competition Bureau’s study on the Competition in Canada’s Airline Industry.

The study aims to answer three principal questions, namely:

1. What is the state of competition in the Canadian airline industry?

2. How can policymakers further support airline entry and expansion?

3. How can policymakers further support consumers when shopping for airfares?
