Dear Minister Alghabra,
Canada’s air transportation system is damaged and without intervention will be irreparably compromised. Our industry’s ability to deliver air service to Canadians, especially Canadians living in remote and northern regions, is now seriously weakened. Your intervention must happen now.
Recovery from the pandemic is compromised by unacceptable, substandard, and negligent levels of service by the Government of Canada, NAV CANADA, Airport Authorities, CATSA, CBSA, and by ground service providers. Private or government service providers are struggling to recover to meet the pent-up demand for commercial air services in Canada.
